Episode 402: Me and Mr Jones
Manage episode 451178504 series 82224
This is the 402nd edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the playlist to accompany it. You can CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD but note that the shows are large files. The show is also available to stream via Mixcloud and the Progzilla Radio Network (the show appears on Progzilla in alternate weeks). Hopefully you enjoyed the previous show, when I was reflecting a lot on the many live gigs I’d attended in October. Well, my gig-going has been greatly reduced since then, so this will be quite a different kind of show from last time, but hopefully you’ll appreciate the usual eclectic playlist. There is a feature artist this time, Quincy Jones, the American record producer, composer, arranger, conductor, trumpeter, and bandleader, who sadly passed away on the 3rd of November this year, so, in tribute to him, I’ll be playing three tracks throughout the playlist that feature him or that he had a hand in. Other than that, you can expect the usual eclectic mixture of music, including tracks from lots of recent releases. Below you’ll find the track list, plus weblinks from where you can find more information about each artist.
