The way we are encouraged to believe in Santa Claus, to believe, to put away our doubts about his existence each year bears a strong resemblance to the way we are invited to believe in and accept Jesus Christ. Without judging Santa as good or bad, we can remember that we can focus on believing in Christ more and more all year without needing to pack up the boxes and put Him away.
