Today we are talking about all things women’s fitness with special guest Uxue Gomez, who was Rosie’s physical therapist in Portugal. Women have to think about exercise differently than men because they’re built differently and experience varying degrees of energy depending on where they are at with their cycle and have to take into account this dynamic when getting into fitness. Uxue tells us one of the main things about exercising during pregnancy is whether you have experience exercising already or not. I you already do, you will adapt quickly, but if not, then it’ll be like you’re learning a new skill.

“You will stop when your body says stop. When you see that you don’t have more energy, or your body is very like, “Oh my gosh, I can’t do it.” Because it’s the end, you stop… if you work out, it will be very easy. If you didn’t work out, it’s going to be slowly, slowly, slowly, and then it’s very easy.” 15:41
