On this special Two-Part episode of the MacGuffin Guild, we're going to continue the obsessive search for... The Vanishing.
We're going to explore and compare both the 1988 and 1993 versions of the film, both Directed by George Sluizer. The '88 version stars Bernard-Pierre Donnadieu, Johanna term Steege and Gene Bervoets, while the '93 version stars Jeff Bridges, Kiefer Sutherland, Nancy Travis and Sandra Bullock.
We're gonna talk about the Golden Egg, the fear of tunnels and Sly Stallone, Anti-Fan reviews and ASMR.
We'll discuss the look of Metal Bass Players, Method Acting, Mike's throat growls, playing Darts in the Dark and losing your bear hunting friend.
We'll also talk about Pat's UFO experience, chess-master Tim Krabbe', as well as the second time Justin was almost abducted.
