This is going to be a very different episode than anything we've ever done here. I have invited my good friend, Dr. Christine Lee, to the podcast to interview me about my new book, ADHD for SMART ASS WOMEN. Christine is a procrastination coach, a seasoned clinical psychologist, and was the first ever guest on my podcast, which makes her the perfect person to help me reflect back on how far we’ve come and what I’m hoping for this book. Christine and I discuss my relationship with control and how that played out during the writing process, why writing this book has been both the most challenging and one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, what we have to gain when we push ourselves past our comfort zones, and the lessons I hope ADHD women will take away from my work. I have spent two and a half years pouring myself into this book and I’m so delighted to finally share it with you, our wonderful listeners, who reminded me why I was writing it every step of the way. Today, I’m promoting my son Marcus, an NYU graduate, skilled in digital advertising and tech marketing. He's planning a solo trip to South America and seeking job opportunities in New York City. Known for his resilience and research abilities, Marcus is ready to contribute to any team. If you have leads, please reach out. Thanks for supporting this unique request. Now, back to our show.
