With Patrick rocking his brains out and having his face melted by Metallica, Dave brought in a more than capable pitch hitter to join him for this latest edition of Musical Chairs....DJ from The Mindless Wrestling Podcast (and an integral part of The Big Five Project as well). For this Episode, Dave chose one of the biggest acts in rock history, The Rolling Stones. The Stones have been touring and making music for an astonishing seven decades and are still going strong. At one time, they were the only band who could be mentioned in the same breath as The Beatles. But, The Stones forged their own path through history, a path sometimes filled with controversy and tragedy. For his maiden voyage onto the waters of Musical Chairs, DJ selected Twisted Sister, an icon of the 80's hair metal scene. Though they might not have reached the same heights as some of their more glamorous colleagues, there is no denying the impact their music had on the rock scene and, in particular, the music video industry at a time when MTV was becoming a staple of Americana. So, tune in this week and learn a few things about two more massive bands plucked from the annals of musical history!
