In this episode, we interview Dr. Mueller, a licensed clinical psychologist working in the Eastern Oklahoma VA as a local recovery coordinator and associate training director for the APA accredited internship program. In addition to her role at the VA, Dr. Mueller supervises psychiatry students in the psychotherapy rotation at Oklahoma State University and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Tulsa. We ask her hard hitting questions (like what is PTSD and Evidence Based Treatments) and do a deep dive into working with the military, trauma and common misconceptions about treatments.
