In today’s episode, we are joined by Charisse Cook. Charisse is a psychotherapist who has been practicing in London, England for over 20 years, specializing in relationships.

In this conversation, we discuss the new paradigm of relationship through the lens of attachment theory. We discuss looking at our own patterns so we can take responsibility for our healing, and the importance of coming to our relationships from a place of self-understanding. We also talk about the reason we tend to attract the same type of person, and how to avoid falling into the same cycles.

Tune in to today’s episode to learn new frameworks for improving the relationships in your life.

IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:

  • The definitions of the different attachment styles
  • Why just being aware of your attachment style isn’t enough
  • The reason we tend to attract the same type of person, and how to shift those patterns
