We all have those days where we just can’t bring ourselves to be productive. Maybe we’re coming down from the high of a holiday, or had bad sleep the night before, or we’ve woken up on a Friday and simply have nothing to give. Unproductivity can freak us out because we think that its the beginning of the end; that its confirming our deepest fear that if we break the habit of being high functioning, we’ll never get on that horse again. So we beat ourselves up and end up and don’t lean into the respite our body is demanding. In this episode I debunk this fear of rest begetting chronic laziness. I walk you through 4 steps to make your ‘rest days’ less anxiety ridden and more self-compassionate .
