This week on the @Monday_Mile_Series I’m joined by rockstar mama and all-round boss lady @JManrara . Best known for her time as a professional dancer on #Strictly Come Dancing, she’s now an author, broadcaster and regularly graces our screens hosting @bbcmorninglive and @bbcstrictly It Takes Two.
This week we take a deep dive into Janette’s working life - how she balances an incredibly busy work schedule rushing from Morning Live to hosting It Takes Two and still managing to be an incredible mother to her daughter Lyra.
She opens up about dancing with her partner Aljaž and how dancing together and finding that ‘flow state’ with someone you love is one of the most euphoric things she’s ever experienced.
We chat about her new book ‘Tiny Dancer Big World’, how much she poured into the book and how it felt like a bit of therapy for her and like she was giving birth to another child!
