Today on ONE HOT MESS, we will continue reading *The Self Discovery Book*. We are still in Chapter 2, where we delve into the metaphor of the mother and father. We explore how physical mothers and fathers can be dysfunctional and flawed, and at times unloving or lacking in acceptance towards their children. This often stems from many parents having never experienced true acceptance or unconditional love, leading them to unconsciously pass on these patterns. Next, we will discuss behavior patterns in children and examine what occurs when parents attempt to fill the void within their souls—the emptiness they experienced as children—through their child's love.
