Professor Kim Felmingham speaks to us before her plenary talk at the Society of Mental Health Research conference in Hobart, Australia. Professor Kim Felmingham is the Chair of Clinical Psychology in the School of Psychological Sciences, University of Melbourne. She is recognized for her research investigating the neurobiology of PTSD and the neurobiological mechanisms underlying exposure therapy, with over 150 publications in this field. Her research has been continuously funded by the ARC and NHMRC over the past 15 years. She has expertise in neuroimaging, psychophysiological, stress, hormonal and memory research. She is a clinical psychologist with over 20 years experience working with traumatized clients and patients with PTSD.
