What will God Say to you today, through His Word and by His Spirit?

Why was the book of Acts written? It was written so that we might know Jesus Christ, the Fullness of His Spirit, and the impact of living a Spirit-filled life, as He builds His Church around the world.
Acts was written by Luke, a Doctor, to his friend, or maybe even his master Theophilus. The book of Acts was written between AD 63 and 70 and it connects Christ life here on earth and the life of the church, between the Gospels and the letters that we have in the New Testament. Who are the key people mentioned in the book of Acts? Peter, John, James, Stephen, Philip, Paul, Barnabas, Cornelius, James (Jesus’ brother), Timothy, Lydia, Silas, Titus, Apollos, Agabus, Ananias, Felix, Festus, Agrippa, and Luke. A lot of key places are mentioned in the book of Acts. Such as Jerusalem, Samaria, Lydda, Java, Antioch, Cypress, the Pisidian, Antioch, Iconium, Lystra, Derby, Philippi, Thessalonica, Berea, Athens, Corinth, Ephesus, Caesarea, Malta, and Rome. Now it's good to know that Acts is a sequel to the Gospel of Luke, because Acts ends so suddenly, Luke may have planned to write another book to continue his story as to what happened after Jesus ascended into heaven.
