Low libido is often described as one of the things that “just happens” when a woman reaches a certain age or begins her journey into Menopause.

If you’ve been handed the “it’s the beginning of the end” script, you know how disempowering and even infuriating that can feel.

But low libido and vaginal dryness is not just an “older woman” thing.

These days many women in their 20s and 30s are showing up to their doctor's office with the same chief complaints.

I feel like it’s time for a libido reframe.

Libido is our life force. And it’s multifaceted.

It ebbs and flows.

It can change with the seasons, our relationships, the quality of sex we’re having and the overall stress levels in our lives.

What if we don’t need to boost anything?

Maybe it’s time to slow things down and simplify.

To nourish, restore and replenish.

To connect with our pleasure and innate erotic innocence.
