Tiffany Foster: Fixing the Wreckage of the Past
Manage episode 432771369 series 3367041
#123: This week we revisit the conversation with Tiffany Foster (she/her). Tiffany is a proud woman in recovery, former substance abuse counselor, and newly CFL2 and Senior Program manager. Wisely advised in the infancy of her recovery to “speak even if your voice shakes,” Tiffany describes some of the darkest moments of her addiction. Against all odds, Tiffany built a life that she never expected to live. Check out the episode to hear more from Tiffany, including:
- The pain of living on the street, being in and out of institutional facilities, and over 100 attempts at treatment.
- The moment she realized that she wanted to live, and the enormity of that single thought.
- The organizations and people who opened their arms to her and how much it meant to be seen.
"Where there is breath, there is hope. You are not broken." Share this episode with someone who might need to hear it today.
