The chaps at Drewling Samantics take all subject matter very seriously, always do appropriate research, gather all the facts possible, and bring their thorough findings and views to us listeners and viewers. This week in particular this is rather obvious, as one of the boys has perhaps enjoyed that process a little too much (if that’s such a thing) but interestingly enough it connects rather well to some industry greats who have sadly exited stage left. As it turns out, when they are paying their tributes, one half of the podcasting pair reveals that some of the recently departed could have ended up with quite different careers instead of their stage and screen successes, and following this trail means Drew and Sam are able to discuss a, perhaps larger than expected, extended list of actors and creatives, who aspired to other futures, or enjoyed surprising alternative careers before becoming the people we recognise now.
We’re all sure to be as surprised and fascinated by these facts as the lads are as they discover them (one before the other of course!), but as Drewling Samantics is all about bringing different content and exciting guests week after week, it is certainly not out of the ordinary - what more encouragement is needed?!
