Governance proposal 853 aims to allocate 600k $ATOM to pStake. The pStake protocol is built on top of Persistence. Persistence is a liquid staking blockchain in Cosmos. The proposal aims to make stkATOM more liquid and available across the Cosmos and counter-fight centralizing forces coming from one dominant liquid staking protocol only.
