At the time, this episode was released we will be en route to Duke University for a (hopefully) brief stay while my 11 yr old son is having surgery on both his legs. I wanted to record this as it occurred to me as I have been working though my own nerves and emotions about this experience. I found a few things that have helped when anxiety is creeping in or "what if" scenarios. This recording is for anyone interested in hearing about my own personal experience navigating this unchartered territory as well as what I hope are 3 specific things you can do when facing any sort of emotional event.
