The Implementer is a pragmatic executor. If there's a job to be done, they'll be the first to volunteer. In this video Simon Phillips TCM examines the makeup of the Implementer and provides some tips for being even better at driving change. How to get more done in less time is a problem the Implementer likes to solve. Whether you are looking to improve efficiency at work or install a new entrepreneurial operating system the GTD notion of the implementer in the GC Index is an action focused, pragmatic dynamo. Every Implementer is on a journey to be amongst the ultimate achievers. The Pareto efficiency is at the core of the DNA of a business man or woman and an Implementer and their pragmatism helps any team from those delivering widgets to those campaigning for social change. Indeed when it comes to semantics vs pragmatics, the Implementer is always willing to ditch the word play and just get on with the job in hand. Simon Phillips TCM is a business coach who works with clients in both work and life coaching scenarios. Whether you are interested in lifelong learning, career development, preparing for those "greatest weakness interview questions" or leadership development, Simon has insights for you.

×In this insightful discussion, Toby Lewis, CEO of Live Group and Envoku, shares his extensive experience in event management and his innovative approach to transforming how organisations engage with their audiences. He discusses the evolution of his understanding of audience engagement, shaped by his own learning experiences and observations from managing thousands of conferences. Toby reveals how his new venture, Envoku, uses sophisticated profiling tools to help organisations create more personalised and effective events, addressing the growing need for tailored experiences in an increasingly diverse workplace. Key insights include the importance of understanding different learning styles, the generational shift in workplace expectations, and the need to give voice to the 'silent majority' in organisations. Toby also shares a fascinating case study of how webcasting transformed a tax conference, leading to tenfold audience growth and renewed engagement. His advice for change makers? "Keep an open mind. Part 2 of the fascinating interview with Steve Sanders all about the pivotal role of businesses in saving the planet. Stakeholder Capitalism is a genuine alternative to the destructive nature of focusing solely on Shareholders. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Part 1 of a two-part conversation with the author of the book, 5 Horizons, Steve Sanders. It's all about how companies can deliver significant benefit to the world by rethinking their approach to business. In this session, Steve reveals the origins of his thinking leading up to the writing of the book and the trends he's plotted along the way. What is Stakeholder Capitalism? Stakeholder Capitalism focuses on the discussion of planet vs profit. It's about corporate governance. It's about stakeholder analysis and thinking about the customer journey as well as the supply chain. For too long businesses have focused on one main stakeholder group and one metric - shareholders and stocks. Stakeholder Capitalism vs Shareholder Capitalism is about launching "Project Stakeholder Management" and looking at all of your stakeholders. In this interview with SimonPhillipsTCM, Steve Sanders argues that we're at a tipping point. Shareholder Capitalism has run its course. Following a career in transformation management in organisations such as IBM, Hewlett Packard, Ernst & Young and British Telecoms where the ability to systemize business systems was key. He's now turning his attention to capitalism power and enterprise digital transformation to show organisations how they can make a difference. #stakeholdercapitalism #stakeholders #corporategovernance Hosted on Acast. Identifying your stakeholders is the most important thing you can do as you start your project/new venture/change. SimonPhillipsTCM guides you through the scope of this task so you can get this critical step right. Who are your Stakeholders? Sounds like a fairly straightforward question. In reality, identifying stakeholders and the types of stakeholders you have can be a complex task. So, what is stakeholder theory? A stakeholder is someone involved or impacted by what you are doing. You don't just need to know who are the stakeholders though. Stakeholder mapping, analyzing stakeholders and stakeholder management skills are required to do the job properly. In work, a project stakeholder plan as part of your user research or customer journey mapping or corporate governance assessment is vital. In short, completing the stakeholder matrix that precedes your stakeholder management plan is time well spent. In your personal life, identifying all of your stakeholders can be equally beneficial. As a Change Maker, interested in bringing about social change, ask yourself, who am I a stakeholder for? That's your opportunity to extend your influence! Hosted on Acast. The UK has joined the US, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland and Australia in trialing a 4 day work week. Less hours for the same pay sounds fantastic but there are some pitfalls to watch out for. Simon discusses the issues and shares 5 ways you can Build Back Better and come back from the pandemic strong. The 4 day work week reflects the desire for work life balance in society. As much as the company stats on sites like Yahoo Finance would like us to think it's all about money, career planning has moved on. The explosion of remote jobs during the pandemic, the break in the link between work and travel has revolutionised the job market. As individuals seek to build back better the benefits of 4 day week are clear. We've all learned how to work remotely during Covid 19. There's been a lot of change to the working week with an emphasis on virtual work. The four-day workweek can only enhance that from the perspective of the individual worker. So, instead of asking how will the 4 day week work? Ask yourself how will the 4 day workweek work FOR ME? The problems with a 4-day workweek are visible but if you can be more proactive we can all play our part in a build back better world. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.…
