Building strong relationships with children is a vital part of helping them grow and develop. One powerful way to do this is through co-regulation. Co-regulation means working together with kids to help them manage their emotions and behavior. It's like a team effort where adults and children support each other. When we co-regulate, we create a safe and caring environment where children can learn to understand and control their feelings. This can lead to stronger, more trusting relationships between adults and kids, helping them thrive and succeed in their journey of growing up.

In this episode, we are joined by Suzanne Ducharme MacFarlane, a Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist with over 30 years of experience helping children and their families make connections and optimize their communication and development, to talk about co-regulation and how we can use it to help kids and anyone in our orbit calm down and energize. Suzanne shares tips for learning self-regulation and helping kids self-regulate. She also talks about how women can start implementing self-regulation in their lives and the lives of their kids. Tune in to learn more about this and other exciting topics!
