Welcome back to the podcast, friends!
If you're new here, I'm so glad you found my show and we're now connected!
I'm in a weird season of life right now. Things were going one way before I left for a trip to Texas June 20th - 23rd, and I have come home to everything changed. We have a new dress code and policies at my job, a relationship with someone I care about is hanging in the balance, family stuff is going on behind closed doors.
This one specific thought has been flooding my mind and heart recently, so I thought today we'd talk about it. Today friends, we're having a conversation about grief, but not the kind where we lose someone we love to a physical death. Anything that comes to an end which we care about (relationships, friendships, jobs, etc) we can grieve.
All grief is valid, can be painful, and matters. We'll talk about that, what I'm going through right now, and things that have (not) been helpful for me when grieving.
Being sad, hurt, angry something comes to an end, etc may suck, but those feelings mean what you lost or a relationship that has ended you truly care(d) about, and caring is not a bad thing.
If this episode resonates with you, DM me on Instagram (@thisiskaitey is my handle), so we can connect more! If you know someone who needs to hear this, share the episode on social media and tag me, so I can thank you for helping spread the word about Triumph After Trauma. I'm so dang glad we're connected and on this life journey together <3
